مهدی سپهران، جوانی ۲۴ ساله اهل تبریز، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در آریاشهر تهران کشته شد. او در جریان اعتراضات مورد اصابت گلوله ماموران قرار گرفت و در حالی که زنده به بیمارستان رسیده بود، با شلیک تیر خلاص جان باخت. مهدی به دلیل آسیب شدید چهره از طریق پدرش و تتوی پایش شناسایی شد.
